"Libertas"

I'm tapping into old inspirations with this piece, throughout a few of my years growing up i was introduced to rhythm games and i've been enamored by the cover art involved to represent each song; a visual cue to complement the amorphous emotion the music may make, and give shape to it whether by expressing an equally amorphous vibe visually, or contextualizing the feelings the song gives through vignettes.

Deemo in particular has been an artistic influence to try these "free-form compositions", where the illustration or parts of it can just arbitrarily end and is not necessarily confined or defined with respect to the four edges of the canvas.

"Cashew - Aquamarine" from Deemo, i love the colors of this one.

the song is Zekk - Libertas, an original(?) song from Arcaea, a mobile rhythm game.

aspects of the illustration are taken from arcaea's cover art of the song
